Open Practice, then Mistakes
From your signed-in learning home, choose Practice, then Mistakes. Practice is available in your personal learning view and a course’s learning view. If you are looking at a school or another context, switch back to your own learning view first.
The opening row shows how many recorded mistakes are still open and how many are ready now. This is a list for your account, not a grade for the course you have selected.
Read one entry
Each entry names what went wrong, or the topic when a more detailed explanation is unavailable. A small label such as Misread or Calculation slip describes the kind of mistake. The filled marks show right answers counted toward correcting that specific mistake.
Use the example below to inspect the label, correction marks and waiting time. It explains how to read the list; it does not start an activity or record an answer.
- Waiting · 1
- I chose what happened, not why.Misread1 of 2 right answers20 min
“Misread” points to how the question was understood. It helps you decide what to pay attention to next.
Example entry · Exploring these details does not record an answer.
Ready now and Waiting mean different things
Ready now groups mistakes that are ready for another answer to count toward correction. Waiting groups mistakes whose next counting opportunity is later. A time such as 20 min or tomorrow tells you when to return; it is not a deadline or a penalty.
A correct answer given too soon can still be practice without adding a correction mark. The wait depends on the mistake and earlier attempts, so follow the time shown for that entry rather than expecting every mistake to have the same wait.
Why one correct answer may not finish it
Read the marks as a count: 1 of 2 right answers means one qualifying answer has been recorded and one more is needed. The required number can differ, so use the count shown on the entry. These marks are not your lesson score or your skill-tree level.
Came back means a previously corrected mistake appeared again. It may need more spaced right answers. When a mistake meets its correction requirement, it leaves this open-mistakes list; that does not mean your whole course is complete.
Use the list to choose your next focus
Pick one idea to revisit. Return to your course’s learning path and open an available lesson on that topic. If the explanation is unclear, ask your Guardian about the specific step that confused you.
The list is a summary: viewing an entry does not itself submit an answer or clear a mistake. The example in this guide does not change your list either.
If the list is empty or a count looks wrong
Nothing to fix right now means no open mistakes were returned for this view. It does not mean that every skill is mastered. Loading… and Your mistakes could not be loaded are different states; wait for loading to finish before reading an empty list as a result.
If a count has not changed, check whether the entry is still waiting. If loading fails, refresh the page and open Practice again. If the problem continues, tell support the topic, the waiting time or count shown, and the message you see. Never send your password or sign-in code.
